It is advisable to apply a thin layer of silicone sealant on the gaskets on 2 sides – this will minimize the likelihood of leakage and partially fix the gasket on the fitting during its installation into the prepared hole. The drain connection can be installed anywhere in the tank (it is not installed on ribs, bends).After installing the tie-in, you can connect a tap, brass fittings of the required size or a plastic fitting to it.
